Located perfectly for touring the whole of this stunning county from Padstow to the traditional fishing villages and picturesque coast of the south. A great selection of attractions are within easy reach including the must see Eden Project the Lost Gardens of Heligan and numerous National Trust properties. The bustling city of Truro is close by and offers an array of shops pubs and restaurants hidden amidst its cobbled streets and St Austell St Mawes and even the Lizard and Land s End make great day trips. For those eager to experience a taste of Cornwall you will also be spoilt for choice when it comes to tea rooms in the area! Or those more energetic can explore on of the many local cycle routes. Alternatively stay closer to home and walk out on the footpath that leads direct from the land. The north coast is 5 miles and the south coast less than 10 miles with their massive sandy beaches and sailing facilities. Amenities: bed linen towels electric Wi-Fi and central heating (underfloor heating throughout perfect for winter breaks) included; the underfloor heating is powered by ground source heat which is driven by the solar panels on the adjacent cattle shed. Regret no smoking inside the property. Up to 2 well-behaved dogs welcome. Additional info: the owners sell a small selection of local and home produce on-site and there is also a pizza oven available for guests to hire by prior arrangement operated by the owners. Location: beach 5 miles pub village shop Post Office and tea rooms all within walking distance. Arrival: 3pm. The accommodation is approached via 5 external stone steps (however flat access is also available) and offers TWO bedrooms on the ground floor both with memory foam mattresses: 1 king-size and 1 super king-size with zip-and-link beds that can be presented as a twin upon request both with en-suite shower and WC. Additional WC: located on the first floor. Lounge: lovely spacious room with TV DVD stunning country views and French doors to the enclosed decked area with steps down leading to a private patio area gravel garden and an open grassed area. Kitchen/diner: open-plan with modern fitted kitchen area with integrated appliances including electric hob and double oven microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine. Outside: private enclosed patio area gravel garden to the side of the property with garden furniture and BBQ as well as the decked area and open lawn. Amenities: ample off-road parking. Additional info: a temporary bed can be supplied to sleep an additional child 12 years or younger in the twin room if required.

Truro is a small city in Cornwall, England, with a population, as recorded in the 2001 Census, of only 20,920. However, despite its small size, as it is the only city in Cornwall it is also the capital. It is located not far from Kenwyn, St Clement, Playing Place, St Erme, and Mylor.
Truro has much to interest the visitor, including of course the cathedral, the presence of which leads to its designation as a city. There are plenty of interesting shops, restaurants and cafes, as well as a variety of places to stay including hotels and self catering.
